On Sunday 22nd September our new u16 Eagles squad travelled east to play Weston park blades in the WPB indoor league. This was a new venture for Dorset All Stars and nobody quite knew what the league would be like. The girls took to the court, 3 new players in the match day squad never having played indoor games before, and began nervously. We quickly went behind but as the 1st quarter progressed we managed to stem the flow and began to match the opposition goal for goal. As the match progressed substitutions occurred and the opposition were ruthless in the shooting circle. The girls never stopped trying but finally Weston Park ran out winners 51-22.

Not the start we wanted as a team but definitely things to build on and of course errors to cut down on. It was however their first game of the season so it was lovely to be back out on court and playing netball again
