YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHAT WE DO WITH IT.

The security of your personal data is our priority and we have recently reviewed our privacy notice, which provides you with a review of how we use and store your information. What personal data we hold on you.

This includes information you provide when you register with Dorset All Stars Netball Club and collected during the various events/competitions during the season. The information may include:

• Full Name and personal details
• Date of Birth and or age;
• Contact information (home address, email address, telephone numbers);
• Special Categories of data such as medical history or race or ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation (via England Netball Affiliation Form);
• Injury(s) (Accident Forms);
• Family, lifestyle or social circumstances;
• Education and employment;
• Next of kin and emergency contact information;
• Imagery in video and/or photographic form and voice recordings;
• Criminal convictions and offences (DBS Disclosure Barring Service with reference to coach and certain volunteers within the club);
• Records of participation at events/sessions/competition;
• Records of enquiries and other correspondence with you;

You may give us information regarding yourself or your child by filling in forms at an event or online, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.

Children

Children’s data will be collected and processed in accordance with the information below. Parents and guardians are expected to ensure that the children they are responsible for are aware of how their personal data will be processed by us. We require parental or guardian consent to process personal data of any child under the age of 18.

Why do we need your personal data?

We need your data to be able to administer your membership and provide the membership services you are signing up to when you register with the club. So for training and competitions we may need to: share personal data with club coaches or officials; share personal data with team managers to enter events; share personal data with leagues, regional associations and other competition providers for entry in events.
For membership and club management we may need to use your data for the processing of membership forms and payments; sharing data with committee members to provide information about club activities, membership renewals or invitation to social events and for website management.

As a member of Dorset All Stars Netball Club you will have access our social media platforms such as our website, Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp. All members are free to join these pages. If you join one of the Social Media pages, please note that the provider of the social media platforms has their own privacy policies and that the club do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data on the club social media pages.

Who do we share your personal data with?

When you become a member of Dorset All Stars Netball Club, you will be required to become a member of England Netball. You will need to set up your own affiliation and or/ your child’s with England Netball and you will be required to share your information with them. In addition, your data may be shared with Dorset Netball , Netball South West and netball tournament hosts for the purpose of entering a Dorset All Stars Netball team into relevant netball competitions. We may also be required to share your data with the NHS and relevant government agencies in line with Covid-19 Track and Trace requirements.

How long do we hold your personal data?

We will hold your personal data on file for as long as you are a member with us. Your data will be reviewed annually. Any personal data we hold on you will be securely destroyed within three years of inactivity on that member’s account.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You may have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your personal data, including direct marketing; to the portability of your personal data and to complain to the UK’s data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office about the processing of your personal data. You are not obliged to share your personal data with Dorset All Stars Netball Club, if however, you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to register or administer your membership.
